Rachel, the founder of Rachel’s American Pies, is dedicated to creating delicious, homemade pies and cheesecakes. Our butter crust pies are original family recipes, passed down from one generation to the next, and are made from scratch to order. Our blend of classic American recipes, combined with our unique takes on our our specialty pies, means that we have a delicious option for even the pickiest of eaters. If pies aren’t your thing, how about New York Style Cheesecake? Our cheesecake has the most amazing delicate texture, while maintaining the traditional flavor profile of a cheesecake.
We believe in only using the freshest ingredients to make sure that every bite of one of our delicious pies is an experience you won’t forget. This means partnering with local farmers to create seasonal and specialty pies, using the best of their best produce. If you aren’t sure you’re ready to go all-in on one of our 10” pies, check out a pie flight, featuring 4 or 8 4” Mini pies in your choice of flavors. From Our Family
There are some traditions that are simply too important to lose to the passage of time. One of the most important traditions to our family is food. Food has a remarkably powerful way of bringing people together, and making memories that last a lifetime. It always amazes me when I take a bite into one of my family's recipes, I am instantly transported back to my childhood in Michigan. It seemed like it was always cold outside, but the smell of freshly-baked pies in our family kitchen always had a way of warming us up. Now, I'm dedicated to passing along those traditions to my three children. Making sure they understand why we make the pies like their grandma does is as important to me as it was to my mo mwhen she showed me. Now, we're a family first, and a small business second, but the kids love to pitch in whenever they can.
There may be a lot of traditions that I don't remember, or that I have lost over time, but one thing is for sure. The tradition of baking with love is one that's been passed down in my family for generations, and I guarantee that every single pie we bake is baked with fresh ingredients, a smile on my face, and a whole lot of love.
